died Ashton -under- lyne  (1898) Jan.Feb.March  need to know maiden name of mother or father's name.

Hi Wayne,
There is no John William Duckworth listed in Ford cemetery
To find his parents names you need his birth certificate, or you can find him in Census records.

If it is the John William Duckworth who died in Stalybridge in 1898, registered in Ashton under Lyne that you are researching, where do you think he was in 1891?

There are a few John William Duckworths born around 1860. How have you got back to him? How do you know that he was born in Blackburn?

if he was the John William son of John & Catherine he was born in Darwen, a sub district of Blackburn and John & Catherine were married in Darwen

There are a couple in Stalybridge that could fit the death mentioned so just wanted to find out if he was certain that  'his John William' died in Stalybridge.
