Help in finding the death details of Mimosa Lovelock, b.31 Jul 1927, Kington, Herefordshire, England she was living with a relative in Crickhowell, Wales in 1940. I think that her mother could have been a Metcalfe. I think she may well have been living on Shropshire/Herefordshire borders in the 1960's but have no documentary evidence of this.

is that a mistype - taken 1940 - she looks older than 13 there ??

She is about 14 yrs on the photograph and was married about 3 years later. I agree with you she does look older than that. But the photograph as I said earlier was taken in 1940 at Ty-Gwyn, Crickhowell, Wales. I am going on the information that is documented. Her day of birth was either 30th or 31st and her place of birth was listed as Kingston, Herefordshire when in fact it was actually Kington, Herefordshire. Hope this clear's that up.

I cannot add anything but wanted to say what a lovely name, Mimosa Lovelock, straight from a Thomas Hardy novel :D

And a lucky girl marrying James Bond (depending on your point of view and considering the fact that James doesn’t come across as the marrying type). I wonder which one she married? Date wise Sean Connery probably fits the best. ;D
On a serious note, it is a lovely name and I’m glad you found out a bit more about her. Have you looked for her on the 1939 register?
