Looking for any information for Maude Cecelia SUMNER in Canada, possibly Ontario.Could be as early as 1830.

Her obit is in the Globe and Mail newspaper, 13 April 1954 page 27.
It says that Maude C Johns died in Toronto on 12 April 1954. Wife of the late James T Johns. Mother of Francis W and Mrs E A Bebee (Mildred). Home was 27 Roxborough St. W. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.

If she was only born in the 1940’s is she still alive? Rootschat has a no living persons policy so her name needs to be removed unless you know she is deceased.

If so, there is an obituary in the Toronto Star for a Susan Elizabeth Siddiqui (nee Johns)...in the Oct 15 2014 edition. Gives her dates as June 30 1946 - Oct 11 2014.
It says that Susan was the wife of F. Mother of 4 children...2 boys- initials T, 2 girls-initials Y and S. (Won't post full names, because they are most likely still living). 3 grandchildren named. Obit says that she is the daughter of Helen and Francis Johns of Roxborough Street, Toronto.

Obit says that he died 20 Feb 1988 in Toronto at Sunnybrook Hospital. Husband of the late Lady Helen Elizabeth Johns. Father of Susan (Mrs F Siddiqui). Grandfather of 4 named children. Brother of Mildred Oliver. Uncle of 5 named females. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Mount Hope Cemetery (sorry...wrote the wrong one. Have corrected it now)
So - Susan's parents are both deceased.

Thanks for the information about his wife's full name. Using that information, I found their marriage notice in the Globe and Mail (didn't come up using his name)…July 31 1944 page 8
A naval wedding at St Basil's church. Helen Elizabeth Watson, only daughter of Mr and Mrs James B Watson of Kincardine, and Francis Johns RCNVR, son of Mrs Johns and the late James Johns. The bride was attended by the bridegroom's sister, Mrs Emery Bebee. George Clinton, Toronto, was best man. Ushers were Mr Herbert Irvine, Mr John Hunt, and Mr Edgar Noffke.
