Title: Elizabeth Rowland 1686

Elizabeth Rowland was baptised at St Mary's Upottery Devon 28th March 1686.
Her Father was named as Robert.
On the assumption Robert was born somewhere between 1640 and 1660 I cannot find a baptism for him, in Upottery or surrounding areas. The nearest I have found to date was Robert Rowland baptised 28 July 1633 in the same church but that would of made him 53 when Elizabeth was born.
I know that this is possible but does anyone have any thoughts / ideas on this please?

These are the children of Robert Rowland born in Upottery, batch number C052061. If this is the same person throughout, he would have been 33 when his first child was born. There are two gaps, 1668 to 1673 and 1676 to 1682, so he might have been married 2 or 3 times.

1668 Samuel Rowland son of Robert
1673 Joan Rowland daughter of Robert
1676 Robert Rowland son of Robert
1682 Stephen Rowland son of Robert
1686 Elizabeth Rowland daughter of Robert
1688 Joseph Rowland son of Robert

strange that the tree owner is French ??  I wont put the street address - but this is the town she lives in - and she only speaks French ...strange isn't it ??

Mind you I have been researching various trees for about 20 years now, and to be honest I strange is now a fairly regular occurrence!!  :)
