Cannot find births registered for Aggy Wright

Nor can I find any of her siblings births to try and find mothers maiden name.
Hilda, Laura, Clifford, Jack Laurence and Esta. Even Sissy was Alice in 1901. Nor can I find Father Daniel Wrights birth registration in Chesterfield. Help please?

Got the 1881 Census but even that does not give any clue to his birth cert.
A real mystery but thank you for all your help so far.
Just a thought. Wonder if surname was mis spelled as Whight etc.?

That Clifford doesn't tie up with the other children but I found them all with an unmarried mother Beckett and first child Agnes given Wright as a second name.
I would take the 1881 census as a possible for Daniel. Not all the children had birth certs. at this time. It's before it was made compulsory for the parents to register a child and if the registrar missed them when he went around they weren't registered.

I think there was also an inclination by some parents to deliberately not register the births of children because they would then be expected to attend compulsory vaccinations - I remember reading a post by Stan Mapstone about this.
I did find a newspaper report of the death of Sarah Ann, infant daughter of Daniel Wright colliery labourer of Church Hill Dodworth on March 4 1892. Maybe she was the one child who had died [from 1911 census]? Burial register states aged 2 days.

Have you perhaps found the marriage that stopped a Wright/Beckett marriage Josey?
Most of the other Wright children were registered so Daniel's MMN can be found if that is the correct family. They do connect the Barnsley area with Chesterfield.

Mar 6 1898 at Cudworth, Daniel Wright miner age 27 [so born ca 1861] father THOMAS miner married Louisa Emily Longford father Charles labourer both of Cudworth witnesses George Frederick Wright & Sarah Ann Paget. So father not the same as 1881 census & age not quite right; will try to follow 1898 marriage Daniel back to eliminate.
ADDED: Hmmm can't find 1871, 1881 or 1891 census with a Daniel Wright father Thomas, now looking for Daniel & Louisa after 1898

I would guess we have an early marriage and a child is born soon after. Marriage falls apart for whatever reason, child adopted and Daniel finds a new love. Unable to marry but they stay together and marry when they can much later in life.

I wonder if the adoptive parents wanted her baptised before they took Lily under their wings? Can't find Lily for sure in censuses yet, adoptive father William Thackray is a boarder in 1901.
