Title: Ancestry website protocol
Post by: tornado on Tuesday 16 June 20 13:07 BST (UK)
Hello all,

Recently i received a response from an Ancestry member in my message Boards. Basically , i wanted something translating and this person said they are a Professional translator and could do this for me. however , "Would they be allowed to charge a fee for this?". I do not want to have to pay anyone!.

Thanks.

Well I would politely (not) tell them to go away :)

Ask on RootsChat - but include the document, or a copy.
Or try using Google Translate.

Report them to Ancestry for soliciting business through their message boards.
