Title: Esther Frazer
Post by: softly softly on Friday 19 June 20 17:10 BST (UK)
Hi, without having to purchase marriage certificate are there any available online resources that can give me details of the marriage of Esther to Frederick Wood Dec q 1891 Watford 3a 926. !891 census tells me she was a widow aged 42 born in Staines. I'm not wanting any other details other than her father's name and occupation . Thanks.
As a side matter are Hertfordshire records ie: bmd a little scarce on pay for view sites?

John

Only the marriage banns on F M P.  Just state both of parish and both widowed.
Banns called 31 May -June 7th & June 14th

I think records are scarce online for Hertfordshire. Ancestry & F M P only have the familysearch short transcript for the marriage

Banns were read at the Parish Church of Rickmansworth.  I can see her in earlier census married to William Frazer - watchmaker.  I can see where you are going with this.  ;D.

The brown eyes mean he gets away with murder  ;D

I wonder if she is Esther Knotts (and variants).  but nothing to link her at the moment.

Time to finish for today  :)

You hit the nail on the head rosie. Easy to find her other than 1871 when recorded as KULTS.
