Hello.
This really is Genealogy , date 1965, 55 years ago .
Has anyone got an original photo of the sculpture in this newspaper article.
or any information about it , anyone remember it x

what I was hoping for is that someone took pictures of the original placing,
it had a sun with it at the time xx

Did you notice that on the Flickr link I posted the artist was named as Vincent Haddelsey and the person asking about the sculpture (who knew about the sun) was Philip Haddelsey, so quite likely a relation?
Would it be worth trying to contact him to see if he can help?

At one time newspapers used to sell good copies of the ones they published. I don't know if they still do - and obviously it would depend on the newspaper still existing and still having its picture library.
Some photo collections end up in local history libraries or archives - worth trying Guildford Library or Surrey History Centre when they reopen?

The Surrey Advertiser is probably the most likely paper that it would have been in. I don't know anything about the Guildford Outlook mentioned here.
