I'm trying to make sense of these baptisms Elizabeth Hodson 22nd June 1707 parents John & Mary
Elizabeth -------- 22nd june 1709 - John
Both of these baptisms took place in cranford St Andrew, I can't see a burial for the 1707 Elizabeth.
Just wondering have someone made a mistake here

The parish registers at Cranford, St Andrew Northamptonshire on Ancestry, record the Baptism
for Elizabeth Hodson 22/06/1706 but the Bishops Transcripts record 1707.
The burials on the register are a bit jumbled and some pages not clear.,
However the parish register for the Baptism of Elizabeth Hodson 23/01/1709 is not straightforward either, there are two entries one below the other, the first line records John as the father but adds Hannah the. I do not see a marriage for John & Hannah so maybe an error?
The line below simply states John as the father. Most of the records at that time state the father and his wife. So I think the death of the first Elizabeth is missing and has not survived.

Hi Colin have you got access to cranford st john parish register? I notice there is a gap for marriages from Feb 1687 to APR 1707. Wanted to know if these are missing.
Cheers wayne

It looks likely that they are not on Ancestry for that period.
