Title: Sailing to Canada
Post by: Chilton on Tuesday 14 July 20 17:47 BST (UK)
Can anyone find information on Alfred Emblin travelling outward bound from UK to Canada.
It would have been around 1925/1928. He lived in Somerset and returned there in July 1965.

The newspaper Somerset Standard ran an article on 02 July 1965 of the homecoming party Alfred's siblings threw for him.  The article also has a photograph of Alfred and all his siblings, as well as information on his children, and Mr. Treasure.

If you have no access to this newspaper, send me a pm., as I can't post it here (per copyright).

Edited to add: The article makes it sound like he only returned for a 2 month visit, and then was returning to Canada.
