I can't find this couple on the 1861 with their daughter Kate Maud. They are probably living in Easton, Hunts or one of the surrounding villages. Can anyone help, please?

Birthplaces & birthyears please

Hi Carole.
1871 census
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:KD8J-8TQ
Mercy maiden name, Church. married 1858, Huntingdon
Kate born 1858, Huntingdon
Isaac died 1869, born 1837
I think Isaac in 1851

Kate's sister Agnes was born 1st Q 1861. May have been a reason for not completing the census

Thanks very much. I do already have Isaac & family in 1851 and 1871, but just couldn't find them in the 1861. I should have put birth dates and places, sorry. They are:
Isaac, b 1837 Easton, Hunts.
Mercy b 1837 Spaldwick, Hunts.
Kate Maud b 1858 Easton
Agnes b 1861 registered Mar Q probably Easton.
There are other children born after 1861, also probably b Easton, whose details I already know. Isaac died in 1869 age 32, still in Easton, I believe.
Just want to know where the family were in 1861 and what Isaac then gives as his profession, probably cordwainer, like his father and all his brothers.

Have you 'trawled' the Easton census for 1861. 1871 has all the children born Easton

I did do this a long time ago for the 1881 census, but don't now remember how to do it. I think it was through Family Search. Don't currently have either Ancestry or Find my Past. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the helpful suggestions and links. I can't see them on the pages displayed, though I wonder if they could be on the missing pages mentioned. Isaac's mother and some unmarried siblings are there in Easton, as I already knew. All the rest of the family and the 11 children with the exception of Isaac have been traced in the 1861. As mentioned in an earlier post, Isaac died in 1869 in Easton, a few months after his son, also Isaac, was born. Think I shall have to send for his death cert for more details.
