I am looking for information re:
MARSHALL, Walter Cornelius Marshall (sometimes recorded as Cornelius Walter)
his first marriage is to a Susan Bygrave
I believe he was in Greenwich on the 1881 census a letter carrier and widow (after having been in Canada from about 1869)
looks like he is born 1841 in Loose, Kent and on his death in Perth the death notice 1921 says he was in the Royal Navy and Postal Department, S.E. District; London and Adelaide
His 2nd Wife who I think is Jane Smith (possible they married in 1881 in Devon???) died in South Australia 1st September 1884 she is buried in West Tce Cemetery along with one of his sons Frederick Augustus and his Maud
I just can't find any arrival of the Marshall family given there would have been possibly 8 children with him.
*****just found a Cornelius Marshall and the little family including Jane arrival on the "Dundee"
is it possible to do a search on his immigration into aus.

I am not good with SA records and cannot see a marriage for May JONES and Mr BROWN.
However for your interest the divorce of May Louisa and William Alexander JONES in 1933.

And
https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/132986711
Here May Louisa BROWN local football supporter and standing for council election in Grey Ward. 1949

And a lovely picture of her drying the dishes in her home!

She was as said, a supporter of local football and by 1942 Mrs Brown was team manager (rather than coach.)

Her address as 346 Angas Street Adelaide comes up on searches.
You will find details of the marriages of her daughters from the JONES marriage in 1946 and 1950. I prefer to leave that as they may be living people.
However in one of the marriage articles in 1946, May Louisa is identified as Mrs W A BROWN, that being her husband's initials.
There was a William Arthur BROWN living in Angas Street in 1951 and he was sued for the injuries to a cyclist.
