Deceasedonline, findagrave, billiongraves etc?
Otherwise check website(s) of the places of burial run by the local council, local churches etc.

Hi
If it's graves in Lanarkshire you're after try the Heritage Centre in Motherwell. They have lists of inhabitants of graves in some of the older graveyards. For more up to date ones try the Local Council.

https://historicgraves.com/graveyards-map
That site has some gravestone images and transcriptions for The Necropolis, Glasgow and St Kentigern's, Lanark. The site is a work in progress so may have more added in the future.

Its mainly Ireland, which has been enormously helpful and amazingly the only one in Northumberland (Whittingham) was just the one I wanted and turned out to be an absolute goldmine!
Such a huge amount of work by so many volunteers.

Ireland is the other side of my family .. even if I don't find something, it is there for the future genealogists. I take my hat off to the volunteers who do all this amazing work :D

Hey Uggy
Is it someone in particular that you are looking for the grave of?
If it relates to a grave in Glasgow I might be able to help. If you give me their full name; day, month and year they died and where they lived at the date of their death I will see if I can find anything.

Have you tried interment.net ?
I stumbled across it a few months ago.
Not all cemeteries have been completed yet but worth a look.
