I am very new to family history research and even newer to RootsChat but already I have found the group and it's help to be brilliant!
I had often thought about tracing my family history but had never quite got round to it. About two months ago my sister and I received letters from Fraser and Fraser the heir hunters who were looking into the estate of a possible relative of ours. To cut a very long story short they have subsequently found a closer relative of the deceased but Fraser and Fraser’s original letter gave me the kick start to investigate my family and now I am total hooked! I have joined Ancestry and although my tree is only a sapling I it is gradually growing!

Welcome.
Plenty of advice is readily available from the members here, just ask and read the posts.
If you have relatives older than you, ask the questions. It is the biggest regret than many researchers have, we never asked.
