Hi all
We have found a letter addressed to my great grandparents in the uk which starts with dear ma and pa . From doris Stevenson. And her husband Charlie?
The question is we cannot find a doris hamer the family name in our records. All we know is that she must be a family member as she address,s them as family members.
The address the letter was sent from is tahoma or takoma court
They must have had a least to boys. And the husband was off too camp in 1954. 300mls away.
Any help would be much appreciated

I cannot see deaths for any of these people in Australia so.......... could all be alive.

The address may be Takoma Court, Norlane, a suburb of Geelong

Geelong Western Public Cemetery has Charles and Doris Stevenson in the same location. Provic has a 1996 probate record for Doris Hamer Stevenson that fits with the burial year

If you type Charles Russell STEVENSON into https://recordsearch.naa.gov.au/SearchNRetrieve/Interface/SearchScreens/BasicSearch.aspx
You will see that Charles and Doris and their 2 children (with names and birthdates) travelled by the RANCHI which left Tilbury 4 Feb 1951 as part of the Ex-servicemen's Free Passage Scheme.
