Hello,
I'm trying to find out what happened to Ann Buckley who was baptized in Measham on 4th March 1816. Ann's parents were Aaron Buckley and Elizabeth Buckley. They were married in Shackerstone, Leicestershire in 1815. I can't find a place or date of death for Ann or any marriage record so far.
In 1841, Elizabeth and Aaron were living in Monmore Green, Staffordshire. Aaron was a miner and I believe that they moved to South Staffordshire sometime between 1816 and 1823. In 1851, Elizabeth and Aaron were living in Blackfordby, Leicestershire. Elizabeth and Aaron Buckley both died in Ashby de la Zouch.
Any help would be very welcome.
Thank you.

Hello,
Thank you very much Kloumann and Brentor boy. I'll try to find out more about the Ann Buckley who died in Brewood if I can.
Thanks again.

If she survived infancy she may have married before Civil Reg was introduced (1.7.1837)
There is an 1841 entry for a 23yr old Ann Buckley b Leics & working as a servant for Buckley Ward & family. Have you already discounted that entry?
There is an Ann Buckley marriage in Leics 1842 www.freebmd.org.uk. Has this been discounted?

Hello,
Thank you CarolW for your help with this. Yes, I believe that Measham was historically in Derbyshire until 1897.
The Ann Buckley marriage to William Beasley in Leicestershire (1842) might be her, because on the 1851 census, Ann Beasley (married to William) gives her birthplace as Measham and she would be about the right age. I'll look into this possibility a bit more.
Aaron and Elizabeth Buckley lost other children in tragic circumstances and Aaron Buckley died in a lodging house, so it would be nice to know that Ann had a good life, if this is her.

1851 entry - Ann Beasley was 29 so b 1822 - unlikely to be your Ann
1861 - widowed aged 39 so birthyear still 1822
