Kathleen (Catherine) Mabel Quatermass (1886-1897) daughter of John Smith Quatermass and Henrietta ? of Hemel Hempstead, murdered on 16th July 1896.

Suggested that she was a niece of Anna Maria Quatermass (1856-1918) but I can find no link. Can anybody assist?

Mother was Henrietta Barrett

Suggest you look for John on earlier census entries to establish his siblings.  If he doesn't have one called Anna Maria - check freebmd to see if any of his brothers married somebody of that name

Have you checked freebmd for a birth for Anna Maria Quatermass - I can see one in 1854

Kathleen Mabel Quatermass is my cousin 2x removed, and Anna Maria Quatermass is my great grandmother. You have solved the link. Thank you all.
