Title: Business called "Gilbert and Barker"
Post by: iwccc on Monday 31 August 20 07:32 BST (UK)
Does anyone remember a business called "Gilbert and Barker" in Sydney (or suburbs).  It would be around 1930s.  What was this business?  Where was it?  Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

It’s the GILBARCO fuel pumps of today:

‘The company was founded under the name Gilbert & Barker in 1870 by Charles Gilbert and John Barker.’
