I am looking for any information on the Degnan family from Cavan. My 3 x ggf Ambrose born around 1800. He married Elizabeth McGowan also from Cavan and his two sons, Thomas and Owen were also born in Cavan. His name may have been spelled differently such as Deignan. They left Cavan and settled in Lanarkshire, Scotland.
