I’ve got a birth certificate where the mother has a middle name (I’ve never seen this on any of the other marriage, birth, death certificates with her name before)
Margaret ——- Hamilton.... any ideas what this could be?

It looks like Frances to me. Is this the baptism for that child?

Thank you Debra! I didn’t even think of Frances. She’s listed as “Fanny” a few times on other documents I’ve found (I assumed it was some weird nickname for Margaret like “Peggy”).
This was on a birth certificate.
