Title: John White Lion?
Post by: Stanwix England on Sunday 13 September 20 19:45 BST (UK)
While I was searching for someone else entirely, I came across a record for a John White Lion on FindMyPast. Baptism of 11 October 1824, St Clements, Westminster.

No mother or father details are on the record I have seen. I'm wondering is this a mistake? FindMyPast has 'John White Lion' as his first name with no surname given.

I can't find out anything else about him and wondered if anyone else had read of him?

There is a John White Lion at Thornbury in 1859 in Slaterīs Directory of Glos, Herefs, Mon, Shrops, & Wales but if Comberton's post is he then this is another bloke with the same name.
