Post by: specialspud on Sunday 27 September 20 16:29 BST (UK)
Hi i was wondering if any one has access to the ancestry UK and Ireland passenger lists i'm trying to find records on my great grand parents Michael coyne born 1883 galway ireland who married Florence Emily bending born 1880 Bideford Devon they were married in 1908 in clifden ireland. i know that in 1914 they were back in england as this is where their child micheal was born in Dorset.
I'm trying to find dates of when Micheal came over to England, and when Florence went over to Ireland and when they came back to England again.
Any help would be much appreciated.

There aren't any passenger records for trips within the UK.
Ireland was a part of the UK until 1922 ;D

And, in any case, Passenger records usually dealt with Trans-Atlantic trips, or voyages to distant parts.

There are none between Britain and Ireland, never was and still isn't now.

For those dates about the only records that might give you a clue about where they each were you will need to look at Irish census records 1901 and 1911 http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/ and also look at British census records

No sign of a birth for Michael Coyne - 16/7/1914 which matches with a death in Yeovil 02/1999 - aged 84 years. Still single in 1939.

I am not sure I do not have any info on who Micheal junior married.

I know Florence Coyne died at Wells aslyum somerset as she is buried in the
Cemetery there. I wonder where Newton is?
