Philip A Smith was born in England in Apr/Jun 1925 and lived in Rockingham, Western Australia.
I am told that he died in about 2008.
Can you help me find out when and where he was buried or cremated?

Thanks, Cass, that's the fellow! I will ask the State Library if there was a death notice or obituary.

Is this possibly his marriage?

Thanks, but I think that is the marriage of a different Philip Smith because Philip Alwyne Smith was born in England in Apr/Jun 1925 and his parents were Charles Romulus Smith and Clara Smith of Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire who never emigrated to Australia. Philip Alwyne Smith had a first marriage in 1946 in Berkhamsted which ended in divorce whilst he was working in Sarawak, Borneo. I do not know when and where his second marriage took place or the name of his second wife.

He does not appear to be on the Welcome Wall. This is probably because he did not put it on there or no one of his family did. Voluntary.
It could also mean he came by plane.
The Welcome Wall is on Fremantle Harbour and lists those who came to WA by ship. http://www.museum.wa.gov.au/welcomewalls/browse-names
Our family put us on the Welcome Wall for our 50th Wedding Anniversary.
-
This would be the closest for a marriage of Wendy's parents.
June 1920
White Mildred E
To Dall Colin E
2a/1636
Dartford
There were probable siblings for Wendy.
It looks as if she was a twin..
Just deleted the sibling information.
Quite possibly still living. ;)

Well it sounds like you have solved your mystery.
Hope the extra information found by the team here has been of interest too.

Ye, I very much appreciate the interest and comments of the team and, as a result, have been able to create these memorials in www.findagrave.com for Philip Smith and Wendy Dall:
Philip Alwyne Smith (1925-2008) - Find A Grave Memorial
https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/216179567/philip-alwyne-smith
Wendy Dall Smith (1926-2018) - Find A Grave Memorial
https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/216182494/wendy-smith
Memorials in www.findagrave.com can be linked as between spouses and as between an individual and his/her parents, in effect creating a family tree. This is the only website in which I am willing to post a family tree. because it is a good discipline to locate the burials or cremations of the deceased in order to create a memorial. A few times I have discovered that other persons buried in a grave are all related, of whom their existence I was previously unaware. I learned about www.findagrave.com from genealogists in New York City who automatically create memorials when they have confirmed where an individual was buried. More genealogists should do this as well. Also in New York as in most states in the USA, Canada and Australia, the place of burial or cremation is recorded on death certificates which reduces the time spent looking for a burial or cremation. I wish Registrars in the UK would add the place of burial or cremation in death certificates.
As for the marriage of Philip Smith and Wendy Dall in Baghdad, Iraq, I am going to look for any report of it in a Baghdad newspaper held by the British Library:
http://explore.bl.uk/primo_library/libweb/action/search.do?ct=facet&fctN=facet_rtype&fctV=Newspapers&rfnGrp=1&rfnGrpCounter=1&frbg=&&indx=1&fn=search&dscnt=0&vl(2084770704UI0)=any&scp.scps=scope%3A(BLCONTENT)&tb=t&vid=BLVU1&mode=Basic&ct=search&srt=rank&tab=local_tab&dum=true&vl(freeText0)=Baghdad&dstmp=1601493419776
