on the 1881/1891 census please

I assume this is John and you may have this information if it is correct but it might help others I can find nothing after 1871 so far.
Both in West Yorkshire.

1871 census Mary(shown as married) and son John in the household of her parents John & Elizabeth Bellwood.
By 1881 Mary is the "wife" of George Brook with son John G H (Hawley) Brook,
ref 4590 49 12
Mary can be found in 1891/1901/1911 census and dies in Pontefract aged 72 in 1914.

found John Hawley on the 1861/1871 census
but after that nothing

On the 1901 census there is a John Hawley born 1831 in Snaith living in Warter, Pocklington. Have you ruled him out?

This death fits with 1901 census, but not, obviously with 1834 birth:

How can you know/prove which John wherever you find him?
