Searching for a marriage do not know groom
Have found a marriage on the Bmd
North Wales 1924
Is there a way of narrowing down
Marriages I never seem to have much luck without the groom
Iv just purchased one it’s wrong
I will put on the unwanted certificates on this forum in a bit

Is Gwen short for another name - e.g. Gwendolen Gwenan Gwenda?
Is she likely to have got married in Abergele?
If she had children do you have the date of birth of her first child?

She was born Gwen Davies June 1904 in Abergele
I believe she died in the 90s in Abergele I think in a nursing home now closed
No children
My mother told me she married , I went on a local forum on FB for Abergele and posted her photo,
Someone said they recognised her from the nursing home the home being called Gainsborough house
They said they thought she was married to a police man but only knew her as Gwen
In my mothers Dr Barnardos records Gwen was not married in 1922
That’s all I have

The death looks interesting as in the census she’s recorded dob about 1906 but when her BC turned up it was 1904
I really want to order the death certificate but I won’t know it’s her will I unless I find her marriage
She died at Gainsborough house ( unless in hospital )!wonder if that would be recorded on death certificate Gainsborough house I mean
