I am trying to help somebody learn more about their ancestor, Michael John Leaden, specifically, to discover who his parents were and where he was born. Michael was born in May 1833 in Ireland and came to Canada in 1836, according to the 1911 Canadian census. I live in Canada, too, and have little experience with Irish ancestry.
