Looking for James and Mary Nesbit arrived in New Brunswick Canada, (Westfield Kings) 1840 they came from Donegal. I can trace them up until 1871 both aged 87.
After that I loose them. living in a household with son Oliver and family. :)

Are you looking for deaths after 1871, or information on them in Ireland before 1840?
-
How strange - no age at death. far more likely to be the son's wife:

Is Nesbit a fairly common surname in New Brunswick?
-
Yes. Son's wife

Have you found burial permits before 1889? If not, helps explain why they are not showing anywhere.

thank you
there are three deaths in the site you sent me.

I am guessing the wife of James is the first one.
am I able to find the grave?
If you have any information on the couple in Ireland, I would be very grateful.
I know there was a daughter Margaret birth ? Joseph birth ? Oliver birth 1822, and possibly another one, of which I am yet to find.
no sign if James?

I now have found James by working around the site. but I have a big question on this and it's the age. how could he be 61, his last age in 1871 was 87, and that would have been about right.
Name NISBETT, JAMES
Age 61
Date 1898-04-29
Birth Place SAINT JOHN
County Saint John
Volume 8
Number 250
Microfilm F20744

I would think that was a son or grandson of the James and Mary, or someone totally unrelated if that is the only information you have got for him.
I do not have any specific information on him in Ireland, I was just unclear as to what you wanted.
-
Possibility from a transcript, Oliver Nesbit, baptised on 15 August 1822, Taughboyne Church of Ireland parish, Co. Donegal, parents James Nesbit (labourer) and Mary Roulston of 'Trentamuclaugh'.

Thanks
Mary senior doesn't seam to be in the census 1881. It states that she is 87 in census 1871. nor does James aged 87 in census 1871.
