It was September

"A FORMER Liverpool man has died after being swept out to sea in a freak accident. Christopher Rees, 37, also known as Crabb, drowned after his dumper truck was knocked off a 10 ft wall by a huge wave at Saltdean, near Brighton. A dozen workmates battled to save him...."

Liverpool Echo 13 September 1995, page 7 col 1

Buried at Anfield Cemetery http://freepages.rootsweb.com/~ormandy/history/anfieldg5.html

There are many death notices for him and acknowledgements in the Echo around that time.
