Title: Jane Martinnant
Post by: maggie.mae on Friday 16 October 20 16:20 BST (UK)
Hi.
Could anyone help me find anything about this lady, please. I believe she was the second wife of John Martinnant who was born 26th November 1749. John was married to Mary Collier who died in 1780 and lived in Westminster London.
I found some births for children of a "John Martinnant and Jane"
Edward James    1782
William              1790
Fredk Thomas     1792   all born Westminster London.

Seeing how it's not a common name I searched a bit more and found the will of Frederick Thomas. He was Chief Officer of a East India Merchants Ship, he died and it shows that Jane wanted his personal effects and had to prove she was his mother. It is dated the 4th September 1820. Her address was given a 1,Upper Queens Buildings Brompton Middlesex.
I would like Janes  baptism, marriage and her death if possible, please.
Hope someone can help me.
Thanks
Maggie
