Hello good people
My son-in-law has just completed a house clearance and turned up items from the Indian Army Ordnance Corps. After Googling images, the cap badges seem to be that of an officer and the design is that of the regiment between 1922 and 1947
In amongst the items is another that bears a name. Is there a way of finding officers of IAOC between those two dates?
Many thanks

I forgot to say the name is on an item not related to IAOC ... apologies

Can the non IAOC item be related to a particular regiment?

Hi Max
The non-IAOC item is an enamel badge from the Miller General Hospital dated 1950
It may not be related but it was in the same box of items
Kind regards

1947 is significant in that it was the year the Indian Army ceased to be officered primarily by the British and became the Indian Army proper. Guessing therefore that the person concerned was a British officer, this:

may help but I'm not sure how you relate a name to the house (unless you have candidates already?) as lists won't have home addresses.
Pass on the Miller Hospital Greenwich.
