Hello everyone, I wanted to get a different perspective on this as I am unsure.
I am trying to find the mother of a woman named Harriet Rebecca Rump born in 1846 - Watton, Norfolk.
With a few census', her marriage certificate and baptism I have found her parents are William Rump and a Mary Ann.
There children all together are:
William Henry Rump - 1832, Lambeth, Surrey
Charlotte Winifred Rump -1834, Lambeth, Surrey
Frederick Dawson Rump - 1840, Lambeth, Surrey
Louisa Rump - 1842, Lambeth, Surrey
Harriet Rebecca Rump - 1846, Watton, Norfolk
Alfred Arthur Charles Rump - 1850, Watton, Norfolk
Emily Rump - 1854, Lambeth, Surrey
Her father William Rump I have at 1914, Watton, Norfolk. It looks like he was a gardener and then a coachman in later life.
Now for the mother. I am on Ancestry and when I started, it recommended to me a Mary Ann Blanchflower as the mother based on that being the same on others trees. However when I looked I realised that no one had any sources for the secondname, in fact they all ended with her - no parents for her. I couldn't find anything for that name either, no marriage certificate.
When I had a look around google, I found someones personal ancestry for the 'Blaker Family' through their youngest Emily Rump. It also noted that William Rump married a Mary Ann Blanchflower but said her maiden name was Ainger.
I have found a marriage between a William Blanchflower and Mary Ann Ainger but it's in 1833 norfolk. A year after the birth of William Rump and Mary Ann's first child. So now I'm not really sure of that being the name.
I have found a marriage between a William Rump and Mary Ann Lockley in 1829, 20 mins from lambeth, surrey. It seems the more likely bet. But I do think it's odd that everyone else has Blanchflower.
So what do you think? Should I go with Lockley or am I missing something else?
Thanks for reading.

Wow, thankyou that was quick.
Yes, I've just been noting down each reference to the dads carreer and it keeps switching from Coachman to Garderener. So it does look like I've accidentially smushed two different families together - yikes. With Gardener William Rump being my guy with Mary Ann Ainger and his children being the last three. Harriet, Alfred, Emily.
Thank you very much for this, but one last thing. I've been confused with this on other posts. What exactly does all this mean:

When I paste it into google nothing really comes up. Do I need an account with a certain website. Which website did you use to find these things? Because none of the records I've looked at have Ainger on them.

To assist others - "our" William is transcribed as Kump in Ancestry in 1851!
Looks like they had some other children who didn;t survive (and they liked reusing names)
