Good afternoon all...I am pulling what little hair I have out looking for my great grandparents nuptuals..I have them in the 1911 census living in Bromley and married for 22 years which makes 1889..Lydia Elizabeth STEBBINGS born Maldon Essex circa 1864..I have found her and her family 1871 all born Maldon...can't find any of them after that and no marriage for John E DODGE (Hunton,Kent) and Lydia..& come to think of it ,I can't find a birth for her!! (circa 1864) - HELP !!

She is Elizabeth not Lydia in 1911

Surname is Stebbens on the two daughters birth registration. (Elizabeth & Emma). I suspect that the 3rd child in 1911 is a grand child - no mmn on her birth reg.

I have found her and her family 1871 all born Maldon.
It does help us if you give us the details from this census rather than leave us to search for it ;D

It always helps if you post full details of any census you are referring to. That way it saves time trying to find the entry. I have now done a report to Ancestry showing her correct name as Lydia Elizabeth in case anybody else is looking for her
