Have you found the family (are they a family without Emma) in 1881 or 1891 census?

Have you found Emma with Mr Carwithen?

What exactly are you looking for, as a bit pointless to duplicate what is obvious in the records?

What area of the country is this?

The marriage for William & Emma should give you their fathers names and occupations to help you progress backwards.

Just to clarify are William & Jane the parents of the other names listed?

Do you know when they married?

Possible birth registration in Dec 1840 Plymouth
William John Vinicombe with mothers maiden name Avery

His birth certificate would clarify who his parents were or you can look for a marriage to a lady with surname Avery who would be his mother such as this one

Mar 1840 Plymouth has a list of 4 couples including a William Vinicombe and an Ann Avery.

But that's just a possible.  Will have a look for them in 1841.

Have you checked to see if any of them passed away before any census?

There is a birth and death for Charles in 1880 for example which may have been him.
