Title: Richard du Hurel and Katherine Nouel, 1643
Post by: MacGrigor on Sunday 29 November 20 19:18 GMT (UK)
Hello,

The pair married in St. Martin on the 5th of August 1643. The note on Jerripedia says he was from France. Can anyone find for me the exact mention in the marriage entry?

I’d appreciate any help!

Adam

It's transcribed as 5th April 1643 and suggests he's from "Normandie".

Sorry, must’ve got the As mixed up! Thanks for that. Could you give me the exact phrasing, or is a scan of the record not available, only a transcript? I’m including it in full as I don’t know any further back about Richard.

You can view the original at Ancestry. Hope your French is good!
