Hi,
Looking for parents of Theodosia Barbara Hamilton (1851 - 1934) who was born in Ireland ( I believe county Down ?Down Patrick ). She married a William Rowan (1843 to 1915) in Ireland and they later moved to Liverpool .Can anyone help?

This might be the death of John Hamilton in 1882 at Derryneill, Drumgooland.

Another daughter of John Hamilton (carpenter) - Anne Tighe Hamilton married George Cantley on 13th December 1866.

I've been trying to locate John Hamiltons (Abt 1810 to 1882) wife over weekend. No luck so far as quite a lot of males by this name.
Also would Theodisia Hamilton (1851 to 1934) have a birth certificate or baptism record anywhere? I've searched but can't find anything?

Civil registration of births started in Ireland in 1864. So, before that date, baptisms in church records (if they are in existence) will need to be found, and you will need an idea of location.
Since Theodosia married in a Presbyterian church, she was likely to be of that religion. Early Presbyterian baptism records, if they survive, usually contain little detail, with the date & name of the child, sometimes father listed, and occasionally mother's first name. Occasionally the townland but usually not all in one entry.
