Four men from my distant ancestors, the Forte family of England and Barbados, are in the attached photograph. Two different sizes of the images are attached together with their names etc.
I would be most grateful if these images could be enhanced. Also I wonder if it would be possible to ask if head and shoulder profiles could be achieved.
Thanks

(PS - my connection dropped for a few minutes - I'll try the portraits later but will probably have to use the enhance app to get a decent size)

Adjusted and minor repairs ... would look good in colour

I've done a slightly textured version with a 'satin' layer as I think the others that I did were too contrasty :-\

Nice photos Gadget, especially the individual ones.

Thanks, Pat. I'm still working on my tiny laptop which is a struggle at times!
I think the OP has a good selection from all of our attempts now.

I think I must be the OP and if so I am sure I have a wonderful selection. So thanks to everone for working on this. I've tried but I obviously don't have the knack, the artistic temperament or the patience.
I have a question about an album of carte de visites for three of my families (not the Fortes). The images are all in my Dropbox and I wonder if it would be possible to share some of these with Rootschat to see if enhanced versions are attainable.
Thanks again.

1, 3, and 4 are brothers, who also had a sister Ethel Margaret. I have never seen your photo before.
#2 I'm not sure where he fits in.
I have the family tree from Samuel Forte d. 1712 and the family crest.
You descend from Christopher Forte d.1780 (in a hurricane) and ourselves from his brother William Forte d.1794. Samuel would have been their great grandfather.
We know a lot more, so try and make contact with us.
