I've found lots of scanned images of Mum when she was in her prime, and I've not done anything to them except scan them :-[
I hope you will have a go at restoring these two of her when she was on a day trip to Blackpool while staying with her elder sister, brother in law and nephew. The first is with this trio and the second is with a friend of the family and her son and my cousin. All are now deceased.
As you know, I prefer b & w or toned to colour.
Thank you for any improvements that you can make.
Gadget :-*
PS - my Mum is the one with plaits around her ears :) I'm supposed to take after her!

Very light clean - too nice to wreck!
Love the 'attitude' of the older boy! I wonder what they were celebrating - two Aussie flags and one which looks Greek. (or possibly USA) and maybe a French or Dutch?
I nearly wiped out the dinosaur footprint before realising what it was!! ;D At least I think that's what it is! :-\ Might be another flag . . . . . :-\
-
And the other. I left the sand on their legs - after all - they are at the beach.
-
Those are really lovely, Wiggy. Thanks you ever so. You've done a great job of them all :)
I thought you might notice the flags.
-
:) Here are the two from me

Ah ha - Pat, I see you have found that what I thought was a dinosaur's foot is actually another flag! :) I can see it now! ;)
-
Isn't it great to see all those wonderful smiling faces!

Couple of small b&w

Lovely happy photos! I think those flags were sold in packets at most British seaside towns so probably not significant which countries they represent. Interesting to that people just in their outdoor clothing - no leisure wear back then!
-
Thank you so much, Pat, Peter and japelakes for your lovely restores :)
Ive just remembered that it would have been my aunty's 120th birthday on the day I found these photos - spooky. She used to spoil me with treats and presents - and often taking me to Lewis''s in Piccadilly, Manchester and buy me toys and then a knickerbocker glory in the restaurant.
Thank you all once again for restoring them for me.
:)

Just found this tiny pic which must have been on the same day. I've got a larger restored version on my Mac.
I don't need this one restored.

What lovely photos of your Mum Gadget...she was so attractive and had a lovely smile. She looks fun to be with.
The restorations are really lovely, I improve on what has already been posted.

Or an adult...A boyfriend bought me one when we went out for a meal in the early "Courting" ( Old Fashioned term now)...I couldn't finish it and apologised profusely :) It didn't put him off...I married him. :D
