Hi, I'm struggling to find the parents of my 4x Great-grandmother Frances CAVE and also where she's buried. I'd really appreciate some fresh eyes on it!
I have her born around 1806 in Deeping Gate and she marries Jonathan MORRIS on 3rd March 1829 at St James's church, Deeping St James. They have a few children, one being my 3x Great-grandmother Mary Ann Morris (b 1844) and her younger brother James Cave Morris (b 1846).
Frances loses her husband in 1848 and on every census up to 1881 (still in Deeping Gate) she is listed as the "head" and "widow", occasionally with grandsons and daughters staying with her. So she must have died sometime between 1881-1891. She is occasionally listed as "Fanny" .......Aaarrghhh.............
Thanks in advance for any hints, tips or info!

Is this the correct 1881 entry?
Frances Morris 81 widow
Thomas Thornley 19 grandson
Elizabeth Morris 4 granddaughter
-
Wonder if this is a possible but it would mean she is alive in 1891 somewhere
Fanny Morris Jun 1894 Peterborough death age 93
If we can find this Fanny Morris in 1891 can try and see if she was yours or not.

Wow thank you so much everyone! That's amazing and thank you for searching for me! It's given me a lot to look into :) I'm now planning a trip to Deeping st James and Maxey to see if I can find their graves.

Hi David, can I please ask where you got the info for the Cave/Morris/Robinson/Moulton etc I was wondering if maybe I can't find much as the parish records aren't on Ancestry, but maybe another source? Thanks! :)

They are on freereg.org.uk/

Also on findmypast.co.uk/
If visiting Maxey, the church is about 400 yards outside the western edge of the village.
