Can anyone advise if there are any services record archives for Boer war members of the South African Constabulary, if so where do I look??
Thanks
-
They have been filmed and you can view the films but I don't think they've been indexed: https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/543629?availability=Family%20History%20Library
Also see https://www.ancestors.co.za/index-of-south-african-constabulary-in-the-2nd-anglo-boer-war/

Thanks Shaun.
The family search records appear to need to be accessed via a library/centre.
I have registered for the SA site, this has records, however, i can't reference the individual by his service number, but it is a good site for information on constables.

Apologies Shaun, I just realised I can sign in to family search and the microfiche records open up.
Moved too fast ;D ;D.
Thanks again

Are you still looking for F Cartwright 1752? He was in C(Eastern) Division - this might help.

Yes, Thanks, Ive just open the Family search records, however , Im lost already!!!
Any idea what set these are on??

Looking through those filmed records, I think they could all be E Division.

Thanks Shaun, unless there is a quick search or index, it looks like a big task, I found his QSA clasp details in Wo100 series.

As I said I think they could all be E Division (numbers beginning "E" ). Your man was C Division. Number C1752.
