Hi all,
I’m new to researching my family history and I have got stuck!
My great grandfather Esau Smith was born 1903 in Darlastan, Walsall.
I believe his parents were Esau (b1881) and Florence Smith(b1883) (nee Price), and paternal grandparents were Joseph (b1860) and Ann Smith (b1862).
I am wondering if there is any connection to the Esau Smiths in my family and the Black Patch ‘gypsy king’ Esau Smith.
Could anyone help?
