I had an email from Ancestry.co.uk to say they have an offer for an annual Premium membership. for £59.99 instead of £119.99.Offer is until 4th Jan. The email address is from ancestry@email.co.uk.Does anyone know if this is true or could it be a scam email?

This is the link to the one we have been using for 5/6 years now. Just make sure if you have a subscription that it is cancelled and then use this link to get the offers.
Last indications were this was still in use a few weeks ago.

I've just gone into the ancestry UK website and it's offering me membership for £59.99.
My membership has lapsed so seems a great deal half price till 4th January.

If anyone needs to renew after the 4 th January, use the link in reply 1 to get yourself a bargain.

I had this offer also. Seem to remember that I have taken it in past years - so that I could spend more time on family tree during the cold dismal winter months. Certainly no enthusiasm for going to the library.
Having said that, since the Covid19 restrictions my local library has made certain records that were to be used at the library available online to library members. ....that's even better than half price!!

They sent me this offer last year too. My sub expires on 4 January so I'll wait a little while before trying the magic link again ;)
