Title: Henry H Blyth. Who was he.
Post by: wilcoxon on Tuesday 29 December 20 20:18 GMT (UK)
Elsie Winifred Squire was born in Devon 1899 / 1900.
In 1911 she is in Wrexham with her parents Sydney F and Susan, and siblings.
In Dec qtr 1924 she married Henry H Blyth in Wrexham.
It was a civil marriage.  In March qtr 1925 a Sidney A (Albert? ) is born in Worcester district,  mmn Squire.
In 1939 Elsie Winifred Blyth  is in Bristol , Married and with her Single brother Charles E.
No sign of her husband or son Sidney.
Elsie Winifred Blyth died 1974 Bristol.
A Sidney Albert Blyth died 1989 in Bristol with the right age.

My problem is that I don't know the full name of Henry H Blyth . As this is for a local history story research I'm not willing to buy the marriage certificate.
Ive been all round the houses trying to find him, but can't be sure of any.
Just hoping that there might be something out there that I've missed.
Thanks

There's a birth reg for a Henry Harcourt Blyth Q3, Salford in 1880.

He also appears with parents in the 1891 and  1901 censuses in Salford

RG12/3210/114/20
RG13/3713/44/30

Worth following up :-\

Add - there was a fair bit of movement between our area and the Manchester area at the time. I've noticed it with my families.

Thanks all, yes I have seen him, but can't find a connection at all.

There's no names on the probates unfortunately,  not like the older ones.

The "older" ones only name the executors! No will means no executors :D

The probate calendars named executors and administrators up until 1967.
From 1968 neither.

Henry Harcourt Blyth died 2 August 1973. Elsie Winifred Blyth died 11 May 1974.
If he was her husband could they have been separated.

Apologies!
I usually deal with Family History; don't ever look at modern records! ;D
