For the first time in many, many years I have decided not to stay up for the bells and go to bed, letting this year slip away without ceremony.
I wish all you Rootschatters a healthy and safe New Year and I thank you for all the laughs, support and interesting topics this year.
I was sent this today and I think it’s something I very much look forward to ;)
Here’s to 2021....
When Corona is a beer again
When Donald is only a duck
When tiers sit on a cake
And when bubbles only exist in Champagne. :D
I wish I had have written it but I did write this, my motto for 2021......

I shall do my normal, often my husband has gone to bed but I will be at my front door at midnight, this year the first for many years my lovely neighbour will be here, normally she is at a friend's with her husband, not allowed this year, but I am sure she will be on her door step, no doubt my neighbours the other side will be out with pots and pans and the like yelling for all they are worth
We will all be glad to see the back of 2020 and welcome 2021
