Hello all!
I think I may have a breakthrough in my ancestry if I can get this dispensation wording deciphered :)
Under "Denuntiationes" column.
All thoughts appreciated for what it says. If you click on the full pdf it is second row from the top.

Healy & Starkey marriage. I see another couple have the same notation close to the end of the page.
Thanks for all help!

I believe it reads ... Disp. ab M(onsi)g(no)r Moran (the clergyman who issued the dispensation). His name is clearer on other pages.
It’s surely just a dispensation for marrying without banns. I believe the other entries on the page read Ter (= 'three times', referencing the calling of banns).

Thanks Bookbox!
I had started to work out it was Mgr Moran (secretary to Dublin Archbishop)
humm ... wondering why marry without calling the bans ???
more digging now !
thanks again!

Some suggestions here, which may or may not relate to your couple ...

What's the long heading for the final column on the opposite page? I can't enlarge it to read the tiny writing. That column is blank for all those marriages but knowing what the heading is may be helpful.

To save typing, it's the same as reply #5 here ...
