Hi All
I am researching a family of Ferson,s from Ireland, and I member is giving me problems. That is Robert Ferson, born 14 Feb 1891 who I have records of in Ireland up to 1913,after that nothing.
I found the following Robert in New Jersey,at 16 Montpellier Av,Atlantic City ,details on First War Registration.no,1048
I cannot find any further details to confirm if this is my person.
Ie Census Returns,Army service,or immigration records so I,m asking for help if possible in any of these fields.
Many thanks

Hi Maureen,Shelly and Sandra,
What can I say, many thanks for all your efforts and more importantly results.Robert,s older brother went to Scotland and his name changed to McPherson, so possibly Robert came to Canada via Scotland and adopted the Scots version of his name.
Sandra where is the WW2 draft listed?
Thanks from Ireland
