I  am happy there are no lists for divorces in the period 1950 to 1980, I suppose because I'd be on the list..... It would be a little like being put on the naughty step  ;D.

Hopefully the records referred to by Antony are only the final outcome and not the details

You may find a report in a local newspaper, divorces still tended to be matters of interest in the earlier years of your dates.
