Ancestry.com transcribed the record as follows:
Name: Storm Anurice
Gender: Male
Baptism Date: 13 Nov 1636
Baptism Place: Ilfracombe,Devon,England
Father: Albert Anurice
Mother: Ann
FHL Film Number: 916849
I believe the transcription includes errors and I would like a copy of the original to validate the information.

The entry reads; Storme sonne of Albert Anrice and Anne his wife of Amsterdam
November 13 1636
-
Old Bristolian - thanks for identifying "Amsterdam". I've been puzzling over that last word!!
-
Is the entry clear or open for interpretation? Is it handwritten or typed?

Could the Anurice actually be Andries/Andriessen?
-
It looks perfectly clear to me - the spelling is clearly Anrice, but of course that is just the writer of the register's interpretation of what he was hearing; as a Dutch name it might be quite different,

Thanks for the replies. Although they were from Amsterdam he was actually Norwegian which would probably have compounded the situation.
Thanks again. Is there any way to get a screen shot of the record. I have an ancestry acoount but they only provide a transcription not the actual image.

Hi Norm,
The images are available on Find My Past - if you don't have a subscription you maybe able to access at your local library when they reopen. I've also sent you a PM,
