My research on the McSorley family have tapered to two family members, Patrick b. 1813 and Bridget b. 1818. It is very likely that Patrick and Bridget lived in Termonmaguirk Parish, though other records suggest Clogher.
The point I wanted to make is, are there any ways of finding other possible members of Patrick and Bridgets siblings? I've tried looking at possible deaths around the 1880s and 1890s but that hasn't shown anything.
Any other ways I can find clues?

I have found evidence of where the McSorley family originated. James Joseph McSorley married in Armagh, where he was working as a Cinema Manager and even though the McSorley family had already moved to Omagh, his father James was recorded under the birthplace of Clogher. Would this be Clogher area or Clogher Parish?

James Joseph McSorley listed as saloon keeper living in Armagh and father James McSorley deceased.
Where did you find father was born Clogher?

I don't think its listed in Irish Geneaology but I have seen it elsewhere

That marriage record does NOT say the father was born in Clogher. The heading of that column is "Eorum Residentia" which is Latin for 'their residence' meaning where the father was then living.

Thank you, it is good to know that. However, this is unusual..... looking back at my tree, James McSorley's father, also known as James died 1924, is it not common to write deceased?

Strange, considering that his father was living and trading in Campsie, Omagh from around 1893 and died in Omagh 1924.
