Evening all,

I'm looking for a death date of Christopher Breckon.

b. 12-Apr-1868, Whitby, N. Yorkshire.
Bur. 13 August 1940, Whitby N. Yorkshire.

Have you checked the Probate Register to see if he left a Will, otherwise you will have to order the dearth certificate to get the exact date.

According to one tree on Anc* he died 10th August 1940 (Loftus). Up to you if you trust other's research.

He is also on https://www.deceasedonline.com/servlet/GSDOSearch for a small amount of money (less than a death cert) you can view the burial register,it will give you the date of his death,but not the reason he died.
