(Hopeful) PHOTO REQUEST: Tunstall Cemetery - Daniel and Elizabeth Callear
Once upon a COVID time, I may have been able to checked this one out myself but I'm hoping someone may be taking their daily walk through Tunstall Cemetery.
I am hoping to obtain a photograph of the headstone for:
In Loving Memory of
Elizabeth CALLEAR.
Died Feb. 2nd 1933
Aged 64 Years
Also Daniel CALLEAR.
Died Oct 5th 1943
Aged 73 years
Reunited
I previously (15 years ago) found the information her (but the link no longer works): http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~inscriptions/Inscriptions_Staffordshire/Tunstall_Cemetery/S_names/Surname_C.html
More recently, I have conflicting (suggests maybe no buried together) burial information here: http://www.bmsgh.org/
Daniel
Block HH
Grave 48
Elizabeth
Block MM <---- I believe they are located here
Grave 48
I have a photograph of the grave (dated 2004) and a map - both attached.
Thanks for reading (and fingers crossed)

There is also a second relation buried nearby, although I do not know if she has a gravestone:
Nancy May CALLEAR
d. 1926
Location: CCn
Grave: 24
She was a baby when she died and appears to be buried in a "shared" plot - my assumption is that there will not be a gravestone.
Surname Forename(s)
BETTS Sarah Ann
BOOTE Philip Arthur
BOULTON William Wallace
BRACE John
CALLEAR Nancy May
CLOWES Daniel
COOPER Ellen
EMBURY Thomas
SPRUCE Evelyn
WRIGHT Samuel
YOUNG Catherine Betty

Might you have a better chance of success if you posted the request on the Staffordshire board?
There's a Tunstall in northern Lancashire and a Tunstead in Rossendale, Lancashire. I assumed the enquiry referred to one of those places, which is why I read the post.

I'd ask on find-a-grave.

Firstly - thanks - never crossed my mind that there are more than one Tunstall!! Changed the title to Tunstall STAFFS
RE: Find-a-grave, I've registered but can't work out yet (home to add) a request. Funny enough, I've sent myself up as a potential "gopher" to fetch photos (why not - nice to be able to help!)

Add your names as memorials in the correct churchyard/ burial ground, and then "request a photo" against the memorial.
